It was a slam dunk for Progressive Conservative Leader Danny Williams, who won his Humber West district with almost 90 per cent of the vote.
Looking for his second straight term as premier, Williams was one of the first people to be declared elected after the polls closed Tuesday night.
Who did Danny Williams vote for? His joke got some laughs at the polling station.

He ended up with 3,755 votes, a world ahead of Liberal Maurice Budgell, who had 516.
This works out to 88 per cent of the vote, an even bigger mandate than in 2003, when he won with more than 68 per cent.
Williams, 58, only had one challenger for his Corner Brook-area seat. In fact, the campaign was well underway before Budgell signed on. The NDP didn't even run a candidate.
Budgell was selling himself as the candidate who stuck around in the district, unlike the high-flying premier who criss-crossed the province.
"I think I need to be rewarded for that. If not here in the west, maybe in heaven," Budgell told CBC last Friday.
Williams, a millionaire businessman, lawyer and Rhodes scholar, has represented Humber West since 2001, when he won the seat in a byelection.
