Public Confidence in Canadian Financial Institutions, 2007

Results of 2007 Public Confidence survey

A key aspect of the mandate of OSFI is “to contribute to public confidence in the Canadian financial system.” One of the ways in which OSFI measures its progress towards this end is through regular surveys that gauge the level of confidence that Canadians have in banks, property and casualty insurance companies, life insurance companies, and pension plans, as well as in government regulation over these areas.
