Research Service Provider Database (RSPD)

The RSPD is a database of suppliers who:

• want to do business with CMHC, and
• provide services related to housing research and information transfer.

CMHC uses the RSPD to identify potential suppliers and notify them of possible contract opportunities.

Why should you register?
It could mean business for your firm. If you're not in RSPD, CMHC may not know your business exists or what you do.

RSPD is one of many tools, including Merx, that CMHC uses to contract out work on housing research and information transfer. Even if you go on Merx, you should register here on RSPD as well.

Who should register with RSPD?
If you are a business that provides one or more services related to housing research and information transfer, then you should register with RSPD. Review the RSPD capabilities to see if your business does the kind of work that CMHC needs.

In order to register with RSPD, you must register with the federal government's Contracts Canada database, known as Supplier Registration Information (SRI)

Is there any cost?
There is no fee or cost to register on RSPD.
