Photo Library

The Photo Library is a special facility within the Canadian Housing Information Centre. It is devoted to collecting and providing access to approximately 180,000 images related to housing matters. The image collection includes slides, photographs, negatives and digital images dating back to the early days of CMHC, with topics covering all business lines of the Corporation. You will find images focusing on building science, construction technology, native housing, moisture and mold issues, retirement residences, housing in other countries, and much more. Additional images cover CMHC conferences and events, community events in which the Corporation was involved, and portraits of top level management in the Corporation.
