Science and Policy Integration

The Science and Policy Integration conducts strategic policy analysis and horizontal policy management for Natural Resources Canada (NRCan). We provide support to the Minister, Deputy Minister and Parliamentary Secretary by responding to evolving federal priorities and emerging issues within the natural resource sectors. We provide strategic policy leadership for the department, lead on key horizontal issues, and perform corporate and coordination functions.

The branch is also responsible for the Policy Analyst Recruitment and Development Program, a post-secondary recruitment program to increase the department's capacity in policy analysis.
