Who Can Help?

Family Maintenance Enforcement Program

How can I find out more about the FMEP?

The FMEP's general brochure, called We Can Help, [PDF] is available on-line. So are the two booklets the FMEP sends out after enrollment: Recipients: What You Need to Know and Payors: What You Need to Know. [PDF] The federal government also provides information on how it works with the FMEP and similar programs across Canada. See the Department of Justice's Family Orders and Agreements Enforcement Assistance (FOAEA) web site.

For answers to specific questions, or to receive a Filing Kit, please call or write the FMEP's central enrollment Office or the regional office nearest you. FMEP switchboards are open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
