Gerard Power is Vice-President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Canada Post since August 15, 2000. He had been General Counsel and Corporate Secretary since February 1999.

Mr. Power joined Canada Post in 1984 as Special Assistant — Legal and became Counsel, Senior Counsel and Assistant General Counsel. Prior to joining CPC, he articled at Perley-Robertson, Panet, Hill and MacDougall.

Mr. Power graduated from Carleton University and holds a law degree from the University of Ottawa.
