Travel Reports & Warnings

Travel Reports offer information on safety and security, local laws and customs, entry requirements, health conditions and other important travel issues.

The Travel Reports for countries with an asterisk (*) currently contain a Travel Warning, indicating that Canadians should either:

• avoid non-essential travel to the country, or specific region(s) of the country, as there is a specific security concern at this time; or
• avoid all travel to the country, or specific region(s) of the country, as there is an extreme risk to personal safety at this time.

Please refer to each Travel Report for specific information.

If the country you intend to visit has a Travel Warning, you may wish to reconsider your travel plans. Before cancelling, check with your travel agent, your travel insurer or the airline/tour operator, as cancelling a scheduled trip may cost you money. The decision to travel is the sole responsibility of the individual.
