Plans, Cabinet and Parliamentary Affairs
 Plans, Cabinet and Parliamentary Affairs (PCPA) provides corporate planning
leadership and expertise to the Minister, Deputy Minister, the department
and the Portfolio, including the management of Cabinet and Parliamentary
Affairs business. The Executive Documents unit of PCPA is the central
office for the administration of all correspondence and briefing material
destined for the Minister and Deputy Minister.
PCPA is also responsible for Order-in-Council appointments for the department
and is NRCan's centre of expertise on institutional governance
and portfolio management. The directorate also manages, prepares and
coordinates strategic documents and transition material in support of
the Minister's and the Deputy Minister's briefings, committees,
retreats and conferences.
