HERE'S A SAMPLE:
Hi, I'm Francine Wesley from Beaver Rapids.  I play the part of Anne in our community theatre's production of Anne of Green Gables.  Its the classic story of an orphan growing up in Prince Edward Island.  In the play, I get to bash a slate on a boy's head, give my best friend too much wine, and eat ice cream for the very first time!  We've been rehearsing for three months...and we're ready to take to the stage Saturday April first at the Beaver Rapids Arena.  Tickets are two dollars and are available at the general store in Beaver Rapids. Hope to see you there!  (If you want more information call 987-6543.)

TIPS:  Keep it simple and clear.  Use a land line as opposed to a cell phone if you can.  The sound quality is usually better.  You should also leave a telephone number you can be reached at if we need to contact you.  Listen to Morning North to hear your voice on the air.

SOUTH RIVER NOV/DEC 2007
Works by artist Christine Charette are now on display at Renée's Café in South River.  Christine Charette sees clearly the connectedness of all life, and has communicated this through writing, music, painting, sculpture, and photography.  This free-thinker recently returned from life in the big cities to live in her native North Bay.  She intuitively lives on the fringe, stretches the envelope and flips the mirror.  Never without a book or an instrument in her bag, always a pencil and pen in pocket, Christine is swift and fluent in expressing the spirit in her artwork.  Presently, Charette belongs to two artist co-ops, l'Arterie in Montreal and Art On Main in North Bay.  She loves spending time in nature and she also runs her own clothing and accessory design business, Chickweed Designs.
