The Depository Services Program offers a number of services to Canadian federal government publishers.
The Depository Services Program is responsible for assigning ISBNs and Government of Canada catalogue numbers to all Government of Canada publications. Publications are defined as all products, regardless of publishing medium, containing information for public consumption or for limited circulation. The use of these identification numbers is mandated in the
Treasury Board Communications Policy
.
To apply for an ISBN or Government of Canada catalogue number, select one of the following options.
