WE WILL BE CLOSING THE YEAR OFF IN STYLE WITH TWO DIFFERENT SHOWS!!
On Saturday, Dan will present a very special program that CBC's Bonnie Austring-Winter has put together for us!
2007 was a busy year, with several huge musical events taking place in our province, so Bonnie has produced a show that will feature some of the musicians who performed for us this year, including Jim Cuddy, Ron Sexsmith, Tomi Swick, Kelly Lee Evans, Barney Bentall, Jason Plumb, Brad Johner, Carrie Catherine, Sean Hogan, Joel Fafard, Andrea Menard, and more!!
These concerts can be heard on Saturday from 6 am until 9 am!!
ON SUNDAY, DECEMBER 30th, DAN HAS A SHOW FOR YOU CALLED: "IT'S THE END OF THE YEAR AS WE KNOW IT, AND I FEEL FINE"
Join Dan from 6 am until 9 am on Sunday as we wrap up 2-007 with style and fun.
It is not a "Best Of" show, or "Year End Look Back"!
Nope, it is an all-new show feature some brand new songs, songs from Saskatchewan performers, and a few more familiar favourites.
It will all add up to the most Canadian music and features that you can hear anywhere in Saskatchewan next weekend!!

Dan will take us Out & About with him once again on that date, and throughout the first month of next year, he will take us Out & About to the brand new Persephone Theatre in Saskatoon, the RCMP Heritage Centre in Regina, and several other all-new destinations!!
Go Out & About with Dan once again on Sunday, January 6th at around 8:45 am, without ever leaving the comfort of your radio!

What do I say? Think of it as a 30 second friendly invitation to a neighbour. Start by introducing yourself, then describe the event, where it is being held (building and city), day and date, time and ticket information. If you give a telephone number, say it twice. Please try and keep your message close to 30 seconds so we can feature as many calls and events as possible.
Call 1-800-661-7540 and leave the message in two mailboxes. First, press 4 and then 2 and leave your public service announcement with Saskatchewan Weekend. Dial the 1-800 number again and press 6 for Down on the Corner (part of The Noon/Afternoon Editions). Please phone in the message at least 10 days in advance of the event.
