Host Barbara Peacock and Technician - Associate Producer Dan Kennedy provide the local edge to the news and interviews on the day's top stories. The program offers the latest in news, weather, sports, business and the arts.

There are several regular columns on Crosstown:

Monday
After the 4:30 p.m. news, we talk with the Archives Guy, Ian Hamilton.
At 5:40 p.m., you can hear CBC Radio's Technology columnist Nora Young.

Tuesday
Health stories are covered by Dr. Brian Goldman at 4:50 p.m.
Our sports commentators give us their take on the world of sports at 5:20 p.m.

Wednesday
Don Genova looks at the latest trends in food at 4:45 p.m.
News from the science world with "Quirks and Quarks" producer, Pat Senson at 4:50 p.m.

Thursday
The latest stories from the business world can be heard at 4:50 p.m. and at 5:45 p.m. we have our local nature columnist, Phil Roberts.

Friday
Jesse Wente reviews the latest in pop culture at 4:50 p.m., and Kim Linekin brings us her topical movie review at 5:40 p.m.
