PBRI Projects

The Paperwork Burden Reduction Initiative (PBRI) involves two core objectives: measuring the cost of regulatory compliance on small business and pursuing opportunities to simplify regulatory requirements across federal departments and agencies. In order to meet these objectives, the PBRI consists of a number of projects to ensure results. These include a Statistics Canada Survey of Regulatory Compliance Costs, annual progress reports, the Inventory of Requirements and Obligations and a survey conducted by the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB).
