Popular children's entertainers Judy and David present their symphony show for the first time in Ontario with the NAC Orchestra led by Jean-Philippe Tremblay on July 20
July 10, 2002 -
Ottawa, Canada -- Judy and David's Symphonic
Adventure, a fun-filled musical matinee with Canada's
hottest children's entertainers, engages pre-schoolers in a zany
search for the conductor's missing baton at the National Arts
Centre on Saturday, July 20 at 13:30. The concert with the National
Arts Centre Orchestra led by Apprentice Conductor Jean-Philippe
Tremblay, will be the Ontario debut of Judy and David's
orchestral show.
Included in the ticket price are Pre-Concert Activities in the
Foyers of the National Arts Centre beginning at 12:30.
The unthinkable has happened! Minutes before the show, someone has
stolen the conductor's baton! It must have been the criminal
mastermind, Alfred Tonal. But Mr. A. Tonal is nowhere to be found and
the show must go on! The only solution is to follow the clues and,
with everybody's help, get the conductor's baton back where
it belongs! Judy & David bring the orchestra alive for young
children by making them (and their parents!) part of the action from
the very first moment. In fact, kids will have such a good time they
may not even realise how much they have learned!
Judy & David are the Juno Award-winning stars of YTV's
daily TV series "Judy
& David's Boom Box". They officially launched in
February 1993 with the vision of providing hip, fun-filled children's
music that could engage a young audience's active involvement at
every turn. The results? Judy and David are now being called
"Canada's Hottest Children's Entertainers" by the media and
for good reason. In a short time they have performed a flood of
concert appearances and have already released six albums including
the best-selling "My Little Yellow Bus" and "My Little Red Fire
Truck" cassette series which have put Judy & David's music
into the hearts of millions of children in over a dozen countries
around the world.
At last count, over five million Judy & David cassettes have
sold around the world, placing them among the few highest-selling
children's artists in North America
