Pinchas Zukerman and Amanda Forsyth to Make Sushi Tonight for National Arts Centre's Celebrity Chefs' Cooking Series at Le Café

Ottawa (Canada) -- National Arts Centre Orchestra Conductor
Pinchas Zukerman and Principal Cellist Amanda Forsyth will take part
in the National Art Centre's Celebrity Chef's Cooking
Series tonight at 20:00 on the terrace of Le Café
restaurant.
Mr. Zukerman and Ms. Forsyth will join Le Café Chef Kurt
Waldele for a demonstration of one of their favourite summer recipes,
an assortment of sushi and maki served with jumbo shrimp in a cumin,
coconut milk, chili and curry broth.
This summer's upcoming lineup of Celebrity Chefs includes:
Ottawa Citizen columnist and culinary author Gay Cook (August
9th), Canadian Tourism Commission President and CEO Jim
Watson and National Arts Centre Communications Director Jayne Watson
(August 16th), and Deputy Prime Minister John Manley
(August 23rd).
Le Café patrons are welcome to attend the cooking
demonstrations for free. The celebrities' creations are available as
a menu item for $19.95 per person. Patrons in attendance will also
receive a copy of each Celebrity Chef's recipe, which will also
be featured on the restaurant's menu as an evening special for
the week following their appearance.
All proceeds from this event will go towards supporting the
National Arts Centre's youth and education initiatives, and
artistic programming.
