Charge Laid in Death of Constable Christopher Worden (Hay River)

Hay River, Northwest Territories - October 8, 2007 —The RCMP is providing public notice that an arrest warrant has been issued for an individual in connection with the Hay River incident which resulted in the death of Cst. Christopher Worden.

A charge of first degree murder has been laid against Emrah BULATCI.

BULATCI's date of birth is 1984-07-01. BULATCI may also be known as Justin ELISE. Height 157 cm, weight 61 kg, blond hair, blue eyes. Last known addresses include several locations in Edmonton and St. Albert, Alberta. The investigators believe the suspect has left the Hay River area, and there is no immediate threat to the community.

BULATCI is associated with a Ford Expedition, grey in colour, chrome wheel rims, Alberta licence plate # LEC 010.

BULATCI should be considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS.
