Dillberry Lake and Wainwright Dunes parks partially closed until April
The Wainwright Dunes Ecological Reserve and the Dillberry Lake Provincial Park campground, hiking trails and back-country areas will be closed from February 1 to March 31 while staff work to limit the spread of chronic wasting disease.

Gregg Lake campground closed for upgrades in 2008
Gregg Lake campground in William A. Switzer Provincial Park near Hinton will be closed for the 2008 season while the park undergoes a $4.5 million multi-year infrastructure upgrade.

Public input welcome on Kananaskis park and recreation plans
Albertans are invited to share their opinion on a new management plan being developed for Bragg Creek Provincial Park and close to 40 provincial recreation areas in Kananaskis Country.

K-Country to receive multi-million dollar upgrades to trails and sewers
Parks, trails and sewer systems in Kananaskis Country will receive $12.4 million as part of the Alberta government’s plan to address capital maintenance needs.
