PSMA Resource Centre

The web site has adopted a new title. Welcome to the PSMA Resource Centre. We’re your single point of access to information on the Public Service Modernization Act (PSMA) and its four components:

  • The Public Service Employment Act (PSEA)
  • The Public Service Labour Relations Act (PSLRA)
  • The Financial Administration Act (FAA)
  • The Canadian Centre for Management Development Act (CCMDA)

Since January 1, 2006, departments and agencies have been busy implementing the elements of the PSMA and we have waited while the ground shifts to see how all public servants are coping with the new culture that this legislation promotes.

All public servants have a critical role to play in HR modernization. On this site, you’ll find valuable tools and products to help you heighten awareness and support understanding among  deputy heads, managers, HR advisors and employees of the many exciting changes the new legislation brings to your organization.

This site has been created by the Canada Public Service Agency and the Public Service Commission (PSC). You are welcome to use these materials as they are or adapt them to suit your own needs.
