The aim of the Interchange Canada program is to promote
stronger ties between organizations in the federal public administration
and organizations in all other sectors both within Canada and internationally.
To accomplish this goal, Interchange Canada provides a framework through
which employees in one sector can accept temporary assignments in another
sector, thereby promoting the sharing of knowledge and business practices
and processes across sectors and encouraging the professional and personal
development of employees.
