Employment Policies

Welcome to the Employment Policies Website. We’re your resource for information on the new suite of resourcing and workplace policies resulting from the Public Service Employment Act (PSEA) and Treasury Board’s revised policy renewal model.  (If you’re looking for policies related to the Appointment Framework, visit the Public Service Commission.)

Under HR modernization, flexibility is the operative word. The idea of employment policy as a set of restrictive rules has given way to a new focus. It’s one that provides managers with the guidelines, frameworks and other tools they need to carry out their expanded responsibilities for managing people.

Should you require additional information, please direct your enquiries to your human resources advisor. Should your departmental headquarters human resources advisor be unable to respond to your query, he/she may contact us for further information at Employment Policy.
