Jean-René Halde: President and Chief Executive Officer
Jean-René Halde joined BDC in June 2005. With more than 35 years of management experience, he has held CEO positions since 1979 in leading companies, including Livingston Group Inc., Métro-Richelieu Inc. and Culinar Inc.

He is a member of the board of the Conference Board of Canada and has been a board member of numerous companies, including CCL Industries Inc., Groupe Vidéotron Ltée, Gaz Métropolitain Inc., the Institute of Corporate Directors and the Montréal Heart Institute. He holds an MA in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
