Ordering Canadian Trade-mark Documents

 

Copies of Canadian trade-mark documents are available from the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) Reproduction & Sales Section.

Fees

Paper copies: $1 per page
Certified paper copies: $35 per certificate plus $1 per page for related documents

Please note there is no fee for certified copies made for Federal Court proceedings under Rules 318 or 350 of the Federal Courts Rules.

Response time and delivery

Requests are generally processed within one to three working days when submitted with proof of payment. Some exceptions may apply due to delays in receiving materials from archives.

Orders are delivered by regular mail. Orders requiring other methods of delivery will be the responsibility of the client.
