Online Consultation on the Policy and Regulatory Review of the Special Access Programme (SAP) - Phase 2: Issue Validation
The purpose of the SAP is to provide limited access to drugs that cannot otherwise be sold or distributed in Canada. Authorization for access is provided to practitioners treating patients with serious or life-threatening conditions when conventional therapies have failed, are unsuitable, unavailable or offer limited options.
