Expert Advisory Committee on the Vigilance of Health Products

About the Expert Advisory Committee on the Vigilance of Health Products

The Expert Advisory Committee on the Vigilance of Health Products (EAC-VHP) will provide advice on Health Products and Food Branch post-market policies and programs related to the vigilance of health products.

The Committee will consist of twelve to fifteen members of the public from the patient, consumer, health professional, researcher, and academia, and industry association sectors to bring a mix of expertise and experience in vigilance.

We all have a role to play in following the safety and the effectiveness of health products once they are approved and available for use by Canadians. Vigilance is a shared responsibility. The Committee's Web site will contribute to the involvement of the public, giving you a forum to have your views considered by experts.

The Web site will also provide news of the membership, issues being addressed by the Committee, proceedings, reports and publications.
