The National Research Council of Canada's Information Centre in Montreal is one of the many branches of the Canada Institute for Scientific and Technical Information (CISTI), a world-renowned source for information in all areas of science, technology, engineering, and medicine.

Our NRC Information Centre (NIC) is located at the Biotechnology Research Institute (BRI), a key component in the biotechnology community of greater Montreal. In addition of being a special library in this research sector, we also provide a comprehensive range of services to help you solve a wide variety of information challenges.

NRC Information Centres work closely with NRC's research institutes and the NRC NRC Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP) to promote the transfer of technology to the private sector. The Centres are also members of the Canadian Technology Network (CTN).
