Individuals who dedicate their time and expertise to support committee work are of vital importance to the National Standards System (NSS). The Standards Council of Canada (SCC) believes in recognizing the commitment of these individuals and the organizations that contribute to the NSS.

The SCC recognizes award recipients at a special ceremony held biennially.

2008 Nominations for SCC Awards are being accepted until November 9, 2007.  The Awards dinner will be held on June 3, 2008 in St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador, as part of the 3rd National Standards System (NSS) Conference.
