Reform of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (BIA) and Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA)

The BIA and CCAA are to be referred to a Parliamentary Committee for review after April 2002. In preparation for that review, a series of discussion papers on commercial and consumer insolvency law issues have been prepared.

The discussion papers on commercial insolvency law issues consider issues relating to the Winding-up and Restructuring Act (WURA) as well as the BIA and CCAA.
