Selection Criteria Print

The Standards Council of Canada's Awards Committee will consider nominations for the Committee Awards. Nominations must accompany the requested documents outlined under the Nomination Submissions section. Should the SCC Awards Committee conclude that no candidates meet the eligibility requirements, an award will not be presented. The SCC Awards Committee reserves the right to grant a nominee an award other than the one for which they were initially nominated. Only one individual will be selected as the award recipient for each award category. Nominations of candidates not selected for the SCC Awards in a given year may be re-submitted for consideration. Award recipients must indicate in writing their willingness to accept the SCC Award at an Awards Ceremony.
