ANNUAL MEETING OF FEDERAL-PROVINCIAL/TERRITORIAL MINISTERS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE STATUS OF WOMEN

Canada's Federal-Provincial/Territorial Ministers Responsible for the Status of Women will be in Whitehorse for their 21st Annual Meeting.
The meeting, co-chaired by the Honourable Jean Augustine, Secretary of State (Multiculturalism) (Status of Women), and the Honourable Cynthia Tucker, Minister of Education and Minister Responsible for the Status of Women, will focus on a broad range of collaborative efforts concerning equality for women. The agenda will also include discussions relating to health, women's economic security and ending violence against women.
Ministers will be available for comment at the conclusion of the meeting.
