REMINDER - YOUTH ESSAY PROJECT 2004
If you're a Canadian youth between the ages of 8 and 24 years, Status of Women Canada invites you to send us an essay about a Canadian woman who serves as your role model.
You can choose to submit a video, photo or written essay from one of the following topics: 'Our Foremothers, Women of the Past' or 'Continuing Change, Women of Today'. Excerpts from some of the submissions we receive may be posted on the Status of Women Canada Web site and some of those role models will be highlighted in the material we produce for Women's History Month 2004.
The maximum length of the essay is 500 words, one to two (1-2) minutes for a video essay submission or 10 photos with captions for photo essay submissions.
Submissions can be produced in either English or French.
All entries must be postdated by June 30, 2004 and received no later than Friday, July 9, 2004.
