Filing a Grant of Interest
An assignment
An assignment occurs when you transfer part, or all of your rights to another party.
The assignment may be for the whole term of the copyright, or for a certain part of it.
A licence
A licence gives someone else permission to use your work under certain conditions,
but you still retain ownership. You have not given up your rights.
Payments can be made using:
- American Express, MasterCard and VISA
- CIPO Deposit Account
This is not a debit card account. Please do not include any bank account information on the application. Contact the Client Service Centre for more information.
