Research activities and services
IRC's research activities are focussed around four main areas, or what we call our Programs. The institute is also involved in initiatives such as the Canadian Centre for Housing Technology. Visit the sites below to find out more about the specific research and services in each IRC Program.
Publications
In addition to the National Model Codes, IRC publishes hundreds of technical papers each year in numerous refereed journals and conference proceedings. All our publications since the institute's founding in 1947 are listed in our publications database. Of the more than 12,000 references, over 3,200 are in full-text free of charge.
