Marine forecast for Halifax harbour and approaches issued by 
Environment Canada at 3.00 AM AST Friday 23 November 2007 for today 
and Saturday with an outlook for Sunday.
The next scheduled forecast will be issued at 10.00 AM.

Halifax harbour and approaches.
Winds southerly 25 knots with gusts to 30 veering to southwest 25 
early this morning.  Winds diminishing to westerly 15 to 20 near
Noon then increasing to northwest 25 Saturday morning. Winds 
diminishing to northwest 15 Saturday evening.
A few showers ending this morning then cloudy with sunny periods. 
Cloudy periods with a chance of flurries tonight and Saturday.
Fog patches lifting near noon. Visibility good except fair in 
precipitation and poor in fog.  Temperature near 10 lowering to 5 
this afternoon. Low tonight minus 3. Temperature steady near minus 2 
on Saturday.
Outlook for Sunday..Light winds becoming moderate southwesterlies.
