The Financial Services Working Group

The Financial Services Working Group is working toward facilitating the flow of capital between Canada, the United States and Mexico as well as the efficient provision of financial services throughout North America.

Some examples of the initiatives that the Financial Services Working Group is dealing with include:

• Facilitating cross-border electronic access to stock exchanges without compromising investor protection.
• Further collaborating on training programs for bank, insurance and securities regulators and supervisors.
• Seeking ways to improve the convenience and cost of insurance coverage for carriers engaged in cross-border commerce.
