What is the status of my application?

If you are eligible for benefits your payment will usually be issued within 28 days from the date that you filed your claim. If you are not eligible for benefits, we will notify you of the decision made on your claim.

If more than 28 days have passed and you would like to find out the status of your application, you can use our My EI Information on-line service, or call one of our Service Delivery Agents:
