Housing Maintaining Your HomeThe Government of Canada has a number of programs to help you maintain your home in a safe, comfortable and energy-efficient manner. - The Home Adaptations for Seniors' Independence Program helps homeowners and landlords pay for home adaptations that will allow low-income seniors to stay longer in their own homes.
- The Residential Rehabilitation Assistance Program financially helps eligible homeowners and landlords make their dwelling accessible to low-income people with disabilities. It also provides assistance to create secondary and garden suites for low-income seniors and adults with disabilities.
- The Emergency Repair Program helps low-income homeowners or occupants in rural and remote areas pay for emergency repairs to keep their homes safe.
