When should I apply for a grant?
Eligible apprentices are able to apply for the AIG now.
You can apply for the grant if you have completed your in-school technical and on-the-job training for the first or second year (level) of your apprenticeship program on or after January 1, 2007.
You will have until June 30 of the subsequent calendar year to submit your application. For example, if you complete Year 1 in February 2007, you will have until June 30, 2008 to apply.
