Organization of the Web Site

Left navigation

The left column of Science.gc.ca enables you to explore in multiple ways.  Find information organized by collection, such as videos or educational resources.  You can also explore by topic in the site map, alphabetically with the A-Z index or by using the Search tool.

Centre Section

Featured in the middle section of Science.gc.ca are highlighted websites.  On the homepage, a new featured site is added to the rotation every week.

Video Player Help

Flash Help

Flash video plays directly in your browser window. Download the browser plug-in at Adobe.

Windows Media Help

Windows Media Player is installed by default on all systems with the Windows operating system. See Microsoft's Windows Media page for further information.

RealPlayer Help

The downloadable RealPlayer, for RealAudio and RealMedia files, is available free of charge from the Real site.

QuickTime Help

The free QuickTime download is available from the Apple site
