Canada, Mexico, and the United States agree to work together in public health emergencies

Mexican Secretary of Health José Ángel Córdova Villalobos, Health and Human Services Secretary Mike Leavitt, and Health Minister Tony Clement at the signing a Mutual Aid Declaration, November 1, 2007 in Washington, DC. The Mutual Aid Declaration will strengthen cross-border coordination and cooperation in the surveillance, prevention, and control of infectious diseases.
