Attention!
The selection criterias have changed for the 2006-2007 edition of the NetCorps program.
Read them... |
NetCorps gives the opportunity to
participate in a four-to-six month overseas
internship, which may includes some time in
Canada. Throughout the internship, participants have
the chance to develop skills that will be essential
to your integration into the job market: you will fine
tune your abilities in information and communication
technologies (ICTs), learn a new language, adapt to new work
situations, and develop skills in teamwork, leadership and
problem solving in different contexts, to name but a few.
NetCorps interns face exciting challenges, gain unique work experience, and learn a great deal about themselves, both at the personal and the professional levels. Their role is an important one, as they share and exchange their knowledge and skills with others.

About NetCorps
The NetCorps Canada International program was
launched as part of the federal government's Youth
Employment Strategy, whose aim is to help young Canadians
gain the professional experience they need in order to have
successful careers. The NetCorps program gives young people
the opportunity to participate in innovative internships in the field of
international development and ICTs. Industry Canada, in partnership with
a coalition of nine of the largest volunteer-sending organizations in Canada,
invites youth to take part in a unique experience that will put their knowledge
about ICTs to use, while offering to them an exceptional work experience and
providing the chance to discover other countries and cultures.
