A number of events have been planned in Regina in observance of National Housing Day.

Event — Shell Busey at 6:30 p.m. on November 21, 2007 — open to the public.
SaskEnergy and Saskatchewan Housing Corporation are hosting an evening with well-known home repair and energy spokesperson Shell Busey. The doors will open to the public at 6:30 p.m. at the Travelodge Hotel South. Free admission.

Event — Equilibrium Luncheon at 12:00 p.m. November 22, 2007 — invitation only.
CMHC and the Regina and Region Home Builders Association are sponsoring the Luncheon which is by invitation only. EQuilibrium Housing is a national design and demonstration initiative, led by Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), which brings the private and public sectors together to develop zero impact sustainable homes in communities across the country. Keynote speaker, Avalon Master Builder, is one of twelve teams selected by CMHC to build pilot demonstration homes throughout Canada

Event — Initiatives for Housing Workshop at 2:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. November 22 — open to the public.
City of Regina will provide a presentation on the various City of Regina housing initiatives. The workshop will be held at United Way, 1440 Scarth Street and is open to the public. Free Admission.

Event — Home Ownership Seminar 7:00 p.m. on November 22, 2007.
Saskatchewan Housing Corporation will deliver a seminar for those households with dependents interested in home ownership. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and the seminar will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church Hall, 1909 Ottawa Street. Free Admission.
