BROCKVILLE, Ontario – November 9, 2007 – A regimental funeral for RCMP Constable (Cst.) Douglas Allen Scott, who was killed in the line of duty while serving in Kimmirut, Nunavut, will be held in Brockville, Ontario on Tuesday, November 13. WHERE: Wall Street United Church, 5 Wall Street, Brockville, Ontario While members of the public will be able to attend the regimental funeral for Cst. Scott, seating in the church is limited. The public will also be able to view a live broadcast of the service on a large screen located outside the church and limited overflow locations will be available at other sites. A private interment will follow the funeral. Please note: Parking is limited, so parking has been arranged at the following locations with shuttle buses to the Church:
Visitation for Cst. Doug Scott is at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville, Ontario. The public is welcome to attend on Monday, November 12 during the following hours: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. See also: -30- Note to the Editor / News Director:
