With a couple of simple inputs (distance travelled and litres of fuel purchased), this fuel calculator can quickly and accurately determine your fuel consumption in litres per 100 kilometres. It can even convert U.S. gallons to litres.

Although the Fuel Consumption Calculator will provide an accurate comparison of different vehicles, it cannot allow for variances in vehicle condition, driving habits, etc. The ratings indicate what fuel efficiency you can achieve if you keep your vehicle properly maintained and drive with fuel efficiency in mind.

First, record the odometer reading, number of litres (or gallons) purchased, and the price paid each time your fuel tank is filled.

Subtract the previous odometer reading from the new one to determine your "Distance travelled."
