Interdepartmental Partnership with the Official-Language Communities (IPOLC)Canadian Content
The IPOLC is a Department of Canadian Heritage initiative launched in June 2000, to create and strengthen lasting cooperative relationships between the official-language minority communities and the federal institutions. The IPOLC initiative has a budget of $5.5 million a year which provides funding to complement the contributions of other federal institutions. At the end of fiscal year 2004-2005, 17 agreements had been signed with 16 federal organizations.

Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF)
Founded in 1996, CYBF is a not-for-profit national organization that helps aspiring entrepreneurs aged 18 to 34 to launch their new business start-ups by providing them with the tools they need. CYBFoffers a Web-based support system called Entre Nous for participants of their face-to-face mentoring program. The 2005 federal budget has allocated $10 million to the CYBF to expand and sustain its operations until the fall of 2009.

Réseau d'enseignement francophone à distance du Canada
Since 1988, REFAD has brought together people and organizations interested in promoting and developing French-language distance education. REFAD provides information, visibility and centralized contacts to its members, who hail from right across Canada.
