Internal Audit Reports
The Government of Canada has put in place a number of significant measures to increase accountability and transparency in the federal government. Among these is the new Policy on Internal Audit that took effect on April 1, 2006. Posting internal audit reports on the web is a requirement of the policy and Treasury Board Secretariat - Office of the Comptroller General will be monitoring the progress of department vis-à-vis the implementation of the new policy.
