Compuware, Expected to Expand Operations in Montreal

Compuware Corp. a U.S. based software service provider plans to expand their Montreal-based operations within the next three years by hiring up to 775 new employees.

With the help of a $5.2-million, three year grant from the Quebec government for training technology employees, this project will support the anticipated growth of the Montreal facility, which currently employees around 300 staff. The Compuware facility offers a dynamic set of products and services for enterprise IT, including IT governance, application development, quality assurance, application service management and the company’s NearShore Development Center.

Compuware expects to fill 150 openings in the first year and is looking to hire individuals who have technical skills in quality assurance and database administration. 

Tommi White, Compuware’s COO, commented that the company’s Canadian operations as a whole “have experienced tremendous growth over the last three years and the partnership between them and the Quebec Government will support the growth of this vital facility and bring more high-quality jobs to Montreal."
