Discover how postage stamps are engravedGatineau, Quebec, March 20, 2007 — On March 31, join Yves Baril in the Canadian Postal Museum, located in the Canadian Museum of Civilization, for coffee and conversation about engraving postage stamps. Yves Baril, who has produced more than 140 Canadian stamps, will show you how stamps were engraved from the 1960s to the 1980s. Baril is the artist involved with the production of the largest number of Canadian postage stamps. He also engraved stamps for the United States and the United Nations, and left his mark on all the Canadian bank notes issued between 1955 and 1996.
