Discovering ChinaGatineau, Quebec, May 8, 2007 — On May 17, join Dr. Jean-Guy Daigle in the Theatre at the Canadian Museum of Civilization for a presentation on the history and achievements of the Chinese people. Dr. Daigle, history professor at the University of Ottawa, will introduce you to the enduring features of Chinese civilization and give an overview of the main developments in Chinese history before 1911.
This lecture is presented in conjunction with the Treasures from China exhibition, on display until October 28, 2007.
