As a Crown corporation, Telefilm Canada
is proud to promote a bilingual environment consistent
with the standards prescribed by the Secretariat of
the Treasury Board of Canada.
All employees, whether newly hired by Telefilm Canada
or changing positions within the Corporation, must be
evaluated according to the linguistic designation of
the position held.
Three language skill sets are taken into account: reading
comprehension, written expression and oral interaction.
The letters representing the linguistic designation
of the position and the ratings achieved (e.g. CBC)
correspond to these skill sets, in the same order, with
the following values:
